Operations
Board of Directors

The 5 person Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing of the Fire District with a main objective to see that the Fire
District operates in the best interest of all Taxpayers of the fire district.

Fire Chief

The Fire Chief is responsible for directing and overseeing all Fire District Operations, in addition the Fire Chief reports to
the Board Of Directors and works with the Board of Directors to continually improve our Fire District.

Administration

Administration is responsible for all personnel issues including but not limited to ensuring that the all District Financial and
personnel issues are addressed as well as support when needed. Administration includes 1 Administrative Secretary and 1
Part time assistant.

Legal Division

The Legal Division includes 1 Full time Attorney for the purpose of protecting our Fire District legally, ensuring that we are
operating in compliance with the law, to assist in annexations as well as all other legal issues.

Communications / IT Division

The Communications / IT Division is responsible for all wireless communications systems, dispatch systems and all in
house computer network systems. The Communications / IT Division also repairs all Two Way Radio communication
equipment, computer equipment as well as installs and maintains all wireless communications devices and computer
systems.

Operations

The Operations Division is responsible for day to day operations within the fire district. This division includes the
Firefighters and first responders. There are approximately 75 firefighters. These are the Men and Women who show up to
help you when requested.

EMS Division

The EMS Division is responsible for all medical related operations including the compliance with all Local, State and
Federal laws regarding health care as well as compliance with HIPAA. The EMS division includes oversight of the EMT and
Paramedic staff.

Support Services

The Support Services division is responsible for the maintenance of all Fire Apparatus vehicles, special projects,
installation and maintenance of all tools and equipment on all of our apparatus.

Hazmat Division

The HAZMAT division is a responsible for all Hazardous Materials concerns including the response to all Hazardous
Materials related incidents within our Fire District, in certain cases our Hazmat Division can respond to assist other
emergency response agencies when requested.
