Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District is hiring for Firefighter-Part Time

$ 11.00/Hour-EMT
$ 13.00/Hour-Paramedic

Responds to alarms, drives and operates apparatus and equipment. Assists in the suppression of fires,
including rescue, advancing lines, entry, and ventilation. Responds to and performs auto extrication
for vehicle crashes in the district. Performs EMS skills within the scope of medical certification in
accordance with current medical protocols.
Responds to non-emergency calls such as: fire code and burn permit inspections, public assistance and
education, and fire prevention tasks.
Assists in cleaning and maintaining apparatus, equipment, fire stations and grounds. Conducts station
tours for the public, schools, and community. Assist in testing and maintenance of fire hose.
Work is performed in accordance with standard operating procedures and direction from the Captain,
Division, Battalion and/or Fire Chief. Completes all required records and reports in an accurate and
timely manner. Responsible for maintaining EMS certifications.
Participates in continuing training by class or individual study. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Arizona certified Firefighter I & II or equivalent; EMT Basic Certification
National Registry or State of Arizona.

Testing Process:
The testing process will consist of the following: physical agility test, oral interview and Chief
interview. Successful candidates will have to pass physical examination and drug screen.
